My mother-in-law Sue calls this a “salad,” but let’s be honest—it’s the best dessert on the table. Every time it’s served, the pan gets wiped clean in no time.

Directions

  1. In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined and airy.
  3. Fold in the diced strawberries and most of the pecans.
  4. Spread the mixture into a greased 9×9-inch dish and smooth the top.
  5. Sprinkle remaining pecans over the top.
  6. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  7. Let sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
