Shrimp Pasta with Garlic Sauce

Instructions

Follow these steps to prepare your Garlic Shrimp Pasta:

1. Cook the Pasta

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the spaghetti until al dente.
  • Reserve 1 cup of the pasta water before draining.
  • Add a little oil, salt, and fresh herbs to the water for added flavor.
  • Drain and set the pasta aside.

2. Prepare the Shrimp

  • Rinse the shrimp thoroughly and pat them dry.

3. Sauté the Shrimp

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  • Add the shrimp and cook until they begin to turn pink and curl slightly.

4. Add Garlic and Seasoning

  • Stir in the minced garlic once the shrimp are partially cooked.
  • Continue cooking until the shrimp are fully pink and curled.

5. Combine with Pasta

  • Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet.
  • Season with Italian seasoning, black pepper, red pepper flakes, salt, and herbs.
  • Gradually pour in some reserved pasta water (start with about ¼ cup) until the sauce reaches your preferred consistency.

6. Mix and Serve

  • Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your flavorful Garlic Shrimp Pasta.
