Apple Filling Ingredients

Instructions
1. Prepare the Apples
- Peel and dice apples into small cubes.
- Toss with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Set aside.
2. Make the Cake Batter
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch (23 cm) round pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until smooth.
- Stir in melted butter, vanilla, then milk.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix dry ingredients into wet until smooth.
3. Assemble the Cake
- Pour half the batter into the pan.
- Spread the apple mixture evenly on top.
- Pour remaining batter over the apples and smooth with a spatula.
4. Bake
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
5. Cool & Serve
- Let cool for 20 minutes.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
